Zildjian Reflexx Pad Unboxing & First Impressions

One thing I forgot to mention is that the pad used to just be the "Reflexx Pad". Reflexx and the Reflexx pad was founded and designed by Guy Licatta. Later on they partnered with Zildjian to basically just put the Zildjian name on top and to have Zildjian produce the pads in their factory (I'm pretty sure). Reflexx now is working on new products with the massive wad of cash they probably recieved from the Zildogs. Reflexx is still 100% independent, they are not owned by Zildjian. This pad is my favorite pad and I will not use another one if I don't have to. With that said, $90 is absurd for a drum pad, and if you don't feel like dropping that kind of money, then stick to a normal pad and a pillow. The only thing you're missing is a bit of convenience with having the pillow like lack of rebound directly on the pad, and the look/feel of the pad.
