Lake District trails have a lot to offer and grizedale is at the front of que of trails to try. Definitely 4x4 required as is a vehicle of adequate height. Our slightly raised shogun (just bigger tyres, no lift) was very close to damage in a few places. Sliders and under armour would be great to have but we did make through and did so without a scratch. 2 inch lift will see you through with much more ease and a 4 inch lift will make it plain sailing. Well worth a try.
