Some drone footage of an extensive and clearly laid out hill fort just NE of Old Sodbury, North of Bath. The fort is thought to be or Iron Age origin, but has been used extensively by other later populations, including the Romans, Saxons and as 'recently' as Edward IV (who is reputed to have used this sie immediately prior to the battle of Tewkesbury in 1471. The embankments can be very clearly seen on the ground and from the air. They are broadly rectangular in shape and approximately 400m x 300m in size. The Cotswold Way and a couple of other footpaths pass through the site, which is in use as agricultural farmland. This footage was shot using a DJI Mini 2 drone.
