For more than thirty years, the Charlotte Eagles have worked in Charlotte, North Carolina and beyond, using soccer as a tool for faith-based outreach, youth development, and community engagement. This nonprofit documentary, produced by J42 Productions, examines the history, impact, and long-term vision of the Charlotte Eagles. Through the global language of sport, the organization seeks to share the word of God while building character, leadership, and opportunity among the individuals and communities they serve. Featuring historical context, firsthand perspectives, and an exploration of the organization’s mission, the film documents how soccer has become a platform for mentorship, discipleship, and service. It also looks ahead to the future of the Charlotte Eagles and their continued role in faith-based sports ministry. This film is intended for audiences interested in nonprofit storytelling, faith-based organizations, sports outreach, and documentary films focused on community impact. This channel is all about how to get better at filmmaking, videography, and content creation in general. Its all real, authentic, and homemade. We study the best art in history, the most impactful speeches ever given, and straight up beautiful music compositions to understand why they have stood the test of time so we can also tell stories that will last. Story is powerful. They are heroic, miraculous, sad, joyful, all laced with hope and truth. Many people see our current day story as dark, corrupt…. hopeless. Is Charlotte, NC any different? The truth is good doesn’t make the news. So we need to show people what He’s doing in this city. Everyday I work with nonprofits across Charlotte and they see God at work first hand.
