Tuning EFI has some unique challenges, and in this video we examine some ways to sense knock or detonation, and I show you a cheap and super easy method to get a second set of "ears" on the situation. At 7:25 you can see that the microphone clamp is on the metal part of the bench on the far right, clamped to a bolt. I am VERY lightly scratching and tapping the bench surface about 3.5 feet away. At that point, you are listening to the microphone stuck between the headphones. I think the audio interference was actually from my cell phone, it' is usually not present. I didn't make this clear in the video, but hopefully you get an idea of just how sensitive this all is.
