RHINE RIVER ROAD TRIP, Castles, Castles & More Castles!

We often looked into a riverboat cruise along the Rhine but too often we read about the risk of too high or too low water for the riverboats. When this happens people are shuffled onto buses and end up with a very expensive bus tour instead of a luxury boat tour. Our other concern, was being rushed and not being able to stop where we wanted to stop and see what we wanted to see, with endless castles, we wanted to see as many as we could in a week. As it turns out, the river did flood and the riverboats were docked... need we say more?! This is why we almost ALWAYS do road trips, we want to soak it in and see all that we can see! We couldn't have made a better decision than to go on a ROAD TRIP along the UPPER MIDDLE RHINE RIVER, it was spectacular! This is a 'memory video' of our week along the Rhine and the places we visited.
