WORLD RECORD AS OF DECEMBER 11TH 2017 This is by far my best Drukqs run to date. If I want to beat this one it's gonna take a lot of grinding, so I'm not gonna be running this album for a while. I've always enjoyed the challenge of learning Aphex Twin albums because of how much tends to be going on, and Drukqs has a lot going on. This run was made possible by a handful of VERY effective skips discovered by the afx runner community - I'd especially like to shout out amoebachrist for discovering the extremely handy (as well as difficult) vordh skip. You're the best!! So, let me unpackage this: 0:02 - run start 0:17 - snowman skip, saves a good couple minutes by jumping me to the end of the track (also flows quite seamlessly!) 0:39 - vordh skip as previously mentioned, the album basically gets confused on the upbeat and gives me an upbeat from taking control instead which skips an insane 22 tracks immediately after this a few things happen in quick succession, all a result of this skip - taking control cycles quickly to its finish, petiatil plays only for a small fraction of a second, then I catch the sample-perfect nanou skip. I have no doubts this wr wont last longer than a couple months, but needless to say, I'm satisfied with what I've done. So many thanks to the community. This would be impossible without you all.
