Thanks for watching and I hope you like it if you like and dislike if you dislike. / @acatofdeath The Last episode of an awesome game, always a bit sad but good games come to an end eventually and the last boss fight for this one was pretty good. Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is an action adventure game with great art, smooth moves and some metroidvania feels that really bring it together. Movement and combat were a great time with new moves for both being sprinkled throughout the entire game and building on each other nicely for the most part. The handful of charge moves mixed with different badges and the movement tech as well allow you to do so many different combat builds. From throwing and stunning to just hitting like a track with slower windups. The different movement options chained together to make fun and interesting parkour sections even if the wall riding ability you get later on felt pretty janky to me. It was never so bad that it broke the game or anything but it felt a little too magnetic in some cases. The art and music in this game are so well done. Each section of the city having its own color palette and theme backed by their soundtracks makes for such fun exploration and needing to go back with all the different moves you collect gives off a metroidvania feel that really helped this game stick with me. The sprite work was also very well done with some cool enemy designs and great animation for our main little bat guy In short, I loved this game and it pretty quickly jumped up into my favorites. It makes me want to look into the developers more and makes me wish we had more metroidvanias that took on a different point of view as well. Not to say this is definitely one itself but it felt like one and a good one at that.
