I got this machine online as a gift for my dad, but first I needed to restore it. I worked on this project for about 2 1/2 months and it was really a fun project! The video has become quite long this time, because I didn't want to leave even more parts and steps out. As you imagine I obviously wasn't able to include every part into the video, because then the video would've been much longer :D There is a 50min long Director's cut version on Patreon and for channel members which is a little less edited, just if you are interested. It does not include a lot more parts than this one, just so you know. According to my research (and AI) this machine was built around the 1920's. It is not a 100% verified and I would really like to learn more about it's history, but I found out that this machine was probably built in the UK and then imported to Germany, where it was sold under the name on the original name tag. Since the company on the name tag wasn't the manufacturer I replaced it with my own one but I kept the original one in the inside of it as an 'easter egg' and to preserve it's history a little. That is also why I did not restore the original name tag. If you know anything about this tool please let me know! Here ist the link to the part of the old users manual I mentioned in the video: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/evAAAO... I hope you will have some fun watching the video! If you have any further questions on the process, tools, material, nickel plating or else write a comment, I will try my best to answer your questions. I hope you liked the video! Thank you for watching and feel free to leave a comment and subscribe if you liked :) Until next time :) Special Thanks to my patrons: James Riordan Nick L.
