I'm back! After 3 years away from uploading content to YouTube, I've decided to return with some interesting longplay content. You'll see me complete many games from my childhood against the clock to see how quickly I can do it. Unless otherwise stated, all the runs I’m doing will be what are known as “Glitchless Any%” runs: this means no glitches, skips or other speedrunner tactics are used, but neither am I attempting to get 100%, unless doing so benefits the completion of the game. First up is Harry Potter and the Philosophers' Stone on PS1. I've always loved the Harry Potter games, and I think its the best way to spend a few hours of my childhood reliving those memories. :) I'm using the DuckStation emulator to run these games as I no longer have the ability to connect my physical PS2 console to a capture card as I used to. This ensures they're in the highest quality for you. I had tried ePSXe but ran into a variety of random audio issues, and was personally recommended to switch to DuckStation. The UI is a bit confusing, but once it was all configured, it provided a genuinely more stable PS1 emulation experience. Note that these speedruns are not legitimate and will not be submitted to speedrun.com. The timer is simply for a bit of fun to see how quickly I can complete the segments outlined. The splits used are ones I wrote myself to denote each section as best as possible. PC Specs have changed a lot since my last upload.
