The Cannabis Sessions Reveal & Review: Hemp Way Foods

While under quarantine, our favorite local chef and business owner - Carla Boyd of Hemp Way Foods - has been delivering pre-ordered dishes made with Hemp Way Foods and other local plant-based items, such as Peaceful Rebel brand cheese. Carla's social media feed has been featuring weekly options such as lasagna, stuffed shells, chili, pot pie, along with a few more. We chose the stuffed shells and chili, but I'm sad I didn't go for the pot pie, as well. You can bet your lucky stars I'll be trying the pot pie, soon. The food was delivered frozen, which doesn't give the best results for an unboxing video (I believe that's true for any product). Instead, I decided the best way to showcase the food was after it was heated, and then plated. Again, thinking of the viewers, I decided against memorializing my initial reaction of tasting or eating because no one needs to see me stuff food into my mouth. Seriously - who can do that without someone making a comment? Having that in mind, it didn't take much forethought to realize how LISTENING to the reaction of someone eating food could become ASMR.
