Despite the dominant influence of communist ideology, the choir managed to retain and revive spiritual traditions of masculine polyphony, being historically a part of Ukrainian culture. The complex system of boys education was created. Besides choral, ensemble and solo singing, it includes also classes of solfeggio and piano. During the 40+ years of its existence, the fifty-strong choir gave more than 700 concerts in the best concert-halls of Ukraine, Russia, the East and Western Europe.
