Happy 30th anniversary to one of, if not my favorite Dragon Ball series! That's right, if you didn't know, Dragon Ball GT just turned 30! As the second Dragon Ball series I watched (terrible order of viewing, I know, don't crucify me) and just as a big part of my journey in becoming a Dragon Ball fan, GT holds a special place in my heart, and posting this video today felt very much appropriate. I intended to wait some more to upload it despite having it done for some time now, but upon being told today was GT's 30th anniversary, I realized there could hardly be a better time! And as for why I chose to focus this video around Pan of all characters, well, there are a few reasons. For one, you can tell this takes place after GT, with Pan still grieving over Goku's departure. What I tried going for here was to show both her grief and her determination to live up to Goku's legacy (not the game). And secondly, this might come off as a surprise, but Pan is one of my favorite GT characters. Could she have been used better? Oh absolutely! But for what she does, I still really like her. She's a tough but sensitive kid, she is crazy strong and sports a kick ass design (minus the crop top. I get that she's trying super hard to grow up and be treated as an adult, but still not sure why Toriyama felt that design element was necessary). Going back on the video itself, I actually had the idea of this scene for a while, before the "Will Return in Avengers: Doomsday" meme became a thing. But after seeing the meme, I realized it would align perfectly with the scene I wanted to make. It's not like I had any upcoming video where this scene could have been added anyway. In the end, I hope you guys enjoy this video, and I hope Avengers: Doomsday will live up to the hype. Fingers crossed! And once more, happy anniversary, Dragon Ball GT! This has been GEEKFOREVER, and on that, see you next time! Green screens by Roko-X & LBA/Lego Blocks Animations Backdrops by Roko-X & Zoey
