I apologise in advance for any and all mistakes that may be in this video. Note: I made a small error in the video in 509 AD as the Ostrogoths had ceded a section of land that corresponds to modern day eastern Syrmia to the Eastern Roman Empire and I forgot to show it. It is unclear for a lot of the Gepid leaders on when they became King or when they died. Therefore, representations and information may differ from source to source and there maybe some things incorrect in the video. Portraits or coins with the Gepid leaders did not exist at all except for Ardaric, which was also a later recreation by a medieval artist. Therefore, I decided to AI generate the portraits of the Gepid Kings myself using Midjourney AI.
