Located at the border of Kandy and Kegalle districts, it offers breathtaking views, flat plains similar to Horton Plains, and a dramatic drop like World’s End. The name ‘Kabaragala’ comes from its iguana-like appearance. The trail starts at Maryville Junction, passing a Kovil, tea estates, and pine forests. After about an hour, you’ll reach the first viewpoint — many stop here, but the real beauty lies beyond. As you continue, the landscape opens up with mana trees and grassy plains, leading to the summit after a two-hour hike. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views and constant mountain winds.
