Phatthalung, Thailand is one of the most underrated and breathtaking destinations in the entire country—and in this video, I’ll show you exactly why it’s one of my favourite provinces in Thailand. I start my day with a wholesome breakfast of fresh fruit and pancakes at my charming accommodation before heading out on one of the most magical experiences I’ve had in Thailand—an early morning boat tour through Thale Noi Lake, where I drift past blooming lotus flowers and watch water buffalo grazing in the wetlands. It felt like a scene straight out of BBC’s Planet Earth. We then explore two of the most unique local markets in Thailand: The Bamboo Forest Market – set inside a real bamboo forest, filled with handmade goods and traditional Thai snacks. The Green Market – a peaceful, beautifully designed community space offering local crafts and fresh produce in the heart of Phatthalung. Later in the day, I head into Phatthalung City, and I’m honestly stunned by the natural beauty surrounding this small town. I visit a one-of-a-kind temple and end the day with sunset at a secret café location with jaw-dropping views—an absolutely perfect way to end the day in this peaceful paradise.
