Another day another Alfa. Today was my turn to experience the sheer thrill of being in an Alfaholics GTA-R290. A 2.3 litre Alfa Romeo Twin Spark Engine producing 240bhp screaming up to 7,000rpm. Petrolhead Tours created a "Drive Out" mid morning to take us to the top of the infamous Stelvio Pass. And my god was it beautiful. This particular Alfa Romeo GTA-R has been driven by some of the most influential automotive journalists such as Chris Harris and Henry Catchpole. If Chris Harris quotes "If Singer is to Porsche then Alfaholics is to Alfa Romeo" then the brothers of Alfaholics must be onto something.
