'No Signs of Life: Jersey Authorities STOP search for St Helier blast survivors' Emergency bosses have confirmed that the the search and rescue operation in the Jersey explosions has been moved to a recovery operation after emergency workers found no signs of life. A block of flats in St Helier, Jersey was destroyed in the explosion early on Saturday night. At least three people were killed in the blast and several others are feared dead. Specialist units from around the UK were called in as the search for survivors continued overnight on Saturday.
