The Itachi Pursuit Arc is one of those arcs in Naruto Shippuden that people don't talk about it very much. You see, the Itachi Pursuit Arc is similar in instruction to the Sasuke Retrieval Arc in Naruto Part 1, and one of the best arcs in the Naruto Anime and Naruto Manga. There's one amazing fight in the arc, which is Sasuke vs Deidara, but other than that, the pursuit section of the arc falls short. Team Hebi never does anything during the pursuit. Sakura vs Karin is a fight that's teased and never happens, and the pursuit itself lasts for one chapter. Unlike the Sasuke retrieval mission, where pretty much every single character in the Konoha 12 gets amazing development, and great fights.
