(Written by Ray Parker Jr.) I still haven't seen the remake and not sure if I will, but the hype about it has gotten me nostalgic for the infectious hook of the original theme song. Like many things that were/are super popular, there were tons of details from the original track, like the ominous synth intro and the bridge, which serves as the ending to my version. Also, I'm still hoping that the term "Acoustic Synthesizer" catches on as a nick-name for the accordion, if for no other reason than synth pop is really fun to play on it.
