The 2024 Toyota Tundra will soon be rolling into Toyota Australia dealerships backed by a factory warranty, giving the likes of the Ford F-150, RAM 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado something to think about – especially considering Toyota’s reputation for building rock-solid and reliable commercial vehicles. Built in Texas then shipped to Australia and converted to right-hand drive by Walkinshaw Automotive, the first officially-sanctioned Tundra pick-up will be available from early 2025. Before then, the Toyota Tundra is currently undergoing a 12-month trial-by-fire at the hands of would-be customers, with a fleet of 300 pick-up trucks being driven right across the continent of Australia.
