Website used to find out Player IDs: https://sofifa.com Select FIFA17 from drop down menu and search your players by name. Some players have more than one Player ID, use the 6 digit one, usually listed first. NOTE: Cristiano Ronaldo has weird Player ID (20801) but I know I did end up finding him and editing him as well. Messi Player ID is (158023) Link to SOFIFA with FIFA 17 Selected: https://sofifa.com/?r=170099&set=true IMPORTANT: Editing OVERALL rating doesn't do much because after playing few games, the computer assigns OVERALL RATING NUMBER based on all attributes and corresponding numbers, but it takes few games to adjust, attributes however will take effect immediately after you change it in RDBM22 and SAVE Career File. One reason (I didn't try it) why you would change OVERALL rating of a player is for Transfer purpose... Ex. When you know player is around say 78, you can change his Overall rating to 88 or 90, place him on Transfer List and get larger amount of money for him, however, after 2-3 games his rating will drop down to his true rating. Or you can set Messi's Overall to 65 and get him at a bargain only for his Overall Rating to go back up to 93 or so after few games. I DID NOT TRY ANYTHING in regards to OVERALL RATING, I never change it, but in theory it should work as I described. To Edit you Transfer Budget, I simply use CHEAT ENGINE. For me FIFA 17 is much better gameplay than FIFA 23, especially if you're into Career Mode, fact that Champions League, and FIFA World Cup are intertwined into your Career is amazing, and sadly thing of the past.
