The ride from Kargil to Leh is one of the most beautiful and diverse stretches of the entire Ladakh journey. Starting early from Kargil, we rode through wide open valleys, smooth highways, and surreal landscapes that feel straight out of another planet. Our first major highlight was Fotu La Pass, the highest point on the Kargil–Leh highway, offering breathtaking views and strong mountain winds. From there, we explored the stunning Moonland (Lamayuru)—a place that truly looks like the surface of the moon. Next came the magical Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet, flowing side by side in two different colors. The ride continued towards Leh with stops at the famous Magnetic Hill, where nature plays a visual trick that every traveler must experience.
