How to Determine the Density of Space-Filling Matter Around the Earth Due to gravity, the Earth maintains a dense region of space-filling matter around it. The density is high near the Earth and decreases with distance. Based on my research, gravitational time dilation results from the influence of space-filling matter on a vibrating particle, rather than from the curvature of spacetime. In a high-density region, a vibrating particle experiences high resistance due to the dragging effect, and the particle's vibration is restricted. This explains why excited electrons in the atoms of an atomic clock vibrate more slowly and emit photons with longer wavelengths on Earth compared to higher altitudes. This principle can be used to create a space matter density meter using the fine structure of hydrogen. Hydrogen, as the lightest element, has electrons that are more sensitive to space matter density than those of other elements. Therefore, the fine structure of hydrogen is useful for developing a space matter density scale. The fine structure of hydrogen will vary with altitude, and even a slight variation in altitude can cause changes in the fine structure. This scale can be used to measure gravity at different locations and can be employed as a gravimeter. This technology will be instrumental in exploring the Earth's interior, opening a new window in geoscientific exploration. It will enhance research in fields such as geology, geophysics, hydrogeology, environmental science, and engineering. I welcome researchers to this promising area of study.
