The body of this horn is built on the tried and true Olds Ambassador trumpet. We have cleaned the horn, and given the valves a precision alignment. As some of you know Olds was considered a "one-tolerance shop", which means that even their student line trumpets played extremely well. This horn is no exception, as it plays wonderfully. The valves have good compression with a thicker oil, such as Berp Bio 3 [link below]. The bell is a brand new, one piece, gold brass, large taper flare (think Bach 72G), and can achieve a multitude of sound colors. It can go from a broad, warm, almost fluffy tone to a brighter, more piercing, direct sound at will! While there are some minor pings, the horn is in wonderful playing condition. We added Amado waterkeys on the 3rd and main tuning slides and the leadpipe is red rot free.
