"Nothing sucks like an Electrolux", but the Dyson V7 Absolute is also a great vacuum cleaner! However, I was annoyed that I could not see just how great a job it was doing of removing all the dirt under the beds and other places where it is dark. So I made this headlight. The motor in the motorhead attachment takes around 500mA and the LED takes about 50 mA, so the impact on battery life is very small. I don't know why Dyson didn't include such a light as standard as it seems like such an useful feature. It would not be very difficult to incorporate e.g. into the housing which is transparent and could act as a lightguide.
