Entity Attachments 101

All of us are prone to various forms of Entity attachment disorder throughout our lifetime. These are the holding patterns we develop as coping mechanisms for our disconnection from source, each other and the natural world. Think of entity attachments as the pathogenic side of your mental and emotional microbiome. They are a root cause for much of our modern day mental illness. If we want to be the best version of ourselves, it is essential that we do the work of removing these types of toxic attachments and patterns that don’t serve us. So I’d like to share a few ideas on how to do this work. 1. Make space to feel into the pain, suffering and struggle in yourself, others, and the world around you. Don’t avoid this work, don’t let distraction, numbing or busyness consume your free time. 2. Build a practice of mindful connection. Meditation, Nature walks and journaling are a great place to start. 3. Do regular cleansing work. Cleanse the diet by removing simple carbs, dairy, stimulants and alcohol. While adding in herbal protocols that support the kidneys, liver, digestive system. Do this for 2 weeks 1-2 times a year (spring and fall are ideal). Also take a social media and or Internet fast for 2 weeks to a month every year. 4. Entity attachment clearing. There are many ways to do this, but here are 2 simple meditations I have found useful. ————————— 6-8 breath clearing meditation. In a quiet place sit with hands on your knees and your fingers forming mudras. Start with pointer finger and your thumb connected. With each breath connect your thumb to the next finger. When you reach your pinky go back to your pointer. 5 second inhale, 5 second exhale, 5 second hold. At the end of holding, pulse your eyes in, up and down. Move on to the next mudra with each breath and repeat 6-8 times. *This can also be done without the mudras, envisioning pyramidal focal points above the head and below the feet, like mentioned in the video. ————————— Ball of light meditation. In a quiet place, sit or lay on your back. Calm your mind and deepen your breath. With each breath, build a ball of light at the centre of your navel. After 5-8 breaths, purse your lips and blow out your breath with force, expanding the ball of light around your body.
