The second type of "genius" is the kid that is REALLY good at school and learning. In my opinion, most of those kids (which I've taught many!) have a very high tolerance for repetition. So their parents have it quite easy, even if the parents aren't familiar with the best teaching practices. But what if your child isn't a genius and doesn't have a high tolerance for repetition? These techniques might help! It's basically entertaining repetitive education. I learned a lot of these techniques teaching english as a foreign language to small children. Obviously, when you are teaching a foreign language to children (2-12 years old) you've got to keep it fun, keep it moving and keep it entertaining. Plus, there are a lot of other techniques to speed up the learning process. If you liked this video and want to start using some of these techniques with your kids (grandchildren,students, etc.) try working on one technique/strategy/game at a time. If you try to do too much at once, you and your child will get frustrated. I know from experience!
