The Regulators Old School Fleet Application Starfleet Command Application for Fleet Membership United Federation of Planets - The Regulators Old School Fleet Good Evening ladies and gentlemen, hobos and tramps, cross eyed mosquitos and bow legged ants. Live Long and Prosper, Applicant. Leave the drama at the airlock. A home for captains who were already adults (or close to it) when Enterprise first warped onto our screens. Who We Are We are primarily Gen X, with a solid contingent of Boomers and a few Xennials. Older Millennials are very welcome provided you genuinely enjoy the company of people who still quote Wrath of Khan from memory, complain about “new Trek,” and can laugh about mortgages, bad backs, and the fact we once played MMOs on dial-up. If you need everything explained with a TikTok, this isn’t the fleet for you. If you can take a little good-natured ribbing about your age (from either direction), pull up a chair. What We Offer Relaxed, mature atmosphere – real life always comes first. Zero tolerance for toxicity, politics, religion, or drama llamas. Voice chat that actually gets used (headsets from this decade encouraged). The vibe: Imagine the bar from Cheers, except it’s a starship lounge with a window looking out on the Delta Quadrant. The jukebox still has 70s and 80s music, someone is always complaining about the price of keys, and half the crew has been flying together since before the game even had a Foundry. We run queues because we enjoy each other’s company, not because there’s a spreadsheet telling us to. Non-Negotiable Requirements Discord account and active daily(ish) use. We coordinate everything there; in-game chat is 2010 tech and we’re too old to yell across it. When you are online, you participate. No hard attendance policy, but perpetual ghosts and “I only log in for the free fleet gear” types will be spaced. Say hello, run a TFO, help with endeavors, join the banter, be part of the crew. Microphone and willingness to use it occasionally. Text works most days, but sometimes you just need to hear another human laugh at a bad dad joke. Mature captains (Gen X & older preferred • older Millennials welcome if you can handle the dad jokes). Zero drama, zero kids, zero toxicity. Real life always first. If you get your feelings hurt easily, we are not the fleet for you.
