In his debut special, “These Jokes Ruined My Life”, NYC comedian Santiago Angel talks about being raised Catholic, drinking spiritual substances in the jungle, moving to the city, internet addiction, relationship problems, getting an STD, why women can’t stand men, and navigating the madness that is modern life (why would anyone ever use a sounding rod?). It is all very funny and at times educational (you’ll learn how to never get ghosted again). Santiago is a true scoundrel and if you are a scoundrel too you will enjoy this special. If you are not a scoundrel you will also enjoy it, but, probably in a different way. More like the way people used to go to freak shows to gawk at people we consider heroes now. Anyways, listen, just check it out, you’ll be happy you did. This special was filmed June 29, 2024 at Flophouse Comedy Club in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
