A tidy, well-organized cleaning cart is one way to boost staff productivity and lower the amount of time spent searching for misplaced cleaning products and tools. So, what does a well-organized cart look like? The top of a cleaning cart should be for easy access. This is where products that get used the most should be, like the ones used for cleaning bathrooms, office cleaning supplies, and PPE. If you have a portable tote, it can be stocked with the frequently used items, like all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, and clean rags. There are usually clips or bags on the side of the cleaning cart. These are for holding different tools, like an extension duster, mop, or broom. The bottom of the cart is good for storing cleaning chemicals, soaps, and sanitizers because there is a lower risk of something knocking or spilling over. If your cart has a cabinet or mid section, this is where any consumables, paper products, or towels should be kept. It’s important to keep consumables and paper products apart from any cleaning products, in case there’s a spill. I hope you found this video informative.
