This video is split into two segments: First, we'll groove to sound demos, experiencing the impact of diffusion in our space. Then, we'll crunch some numbers, exploring measurements with diffusers in place. Playing with diffusion is a blast, but I wish the recording could capture the spatial magic. Still, a couple of things jumped out at me in the sound demos. The diffusers surprisingly cleaned up the lower half of my voice, erasing that last bit of chestiness. The shaker demo was mind-blowing - the clarity and precision made it feel like I could pinpoint every grain in the container. Now, onto the speaker demos! Vocals bloom in a delightful way, sounding more present and not stuck to the wall. The midband clarity gets a boost, and instruments find their 3D space. Surprisingly, the lower frequencies feel more focused. Here's a wild theory: did the diffusers reveal the hidden gems in the lower frequencies by clearing up the higher ones?
