Hike Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island - gwaneumsa trail Part 2

Part 2 of 2 - This summer, Fireese and I went to South Korea. While there we visited Jeju Island. On the island is South Korea's tallest mountain (technically a volcano). Fireese and I decided to climb it. There are two trails to the top, Gwaneumsa and Seongpanak Trails. We had heard the Gwaneumsa trail was the hardest but had the best views so we decided to walk up that trail and down the Seongpanak one. We didn't train for this hike (stupidly) and didn't realize how crazy hard it was going to be. This is the first half of our journey up the mountain. We hope you enjoy coming along with us!
