In this tutorial, we'll walk through the process step by step to enable you to install DaVinci Resolve in Linux using the official installer. This method works for most Debian-based Linux systems. IMPORTANT!! It is recommended to take a system snapshot using an app like Timeshift before proceding because this process doesn't work 100% of the time and removing all of the files that are installed can be tricky. Some of the Debian based Linux distros: ● Ubuntu 16+ ● Pop!_OS ● Debian ● Zorin ● Linux Mint ● AV Linux ● Elementary ● Deeepin ● KDE Neon ● MX Linux ● Peppermint OS ● (and many more) NOTE: In the video I've used the AppImageLauncher application to integrate the AppImage file that is generated during the process. Also, I have already installed the latest NVIDIA GPU drivers for my system. There is information on Daniel Tufvesson's webpage about how to install NVIDIA drivers & the NVIDIA encode library for h.264 & h.265 exporting.
