Elmo's Deep Sea Adventure is a game that was first published by Mattel Interactive in 2000. It was later released by Sesame Workshop and Encore Software in 2001 on a 3 CD set along with Ernie's Adventure in Space and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. The game was also later re-released by Sesame Workshop again in 2005 and by Encore Software in 2006. This particular gameplay is from the 3 CD set copy of the game. In this game, Elmo dives underwater to join Oscar in an underwater submarine trash can and helps Oscar explore the ocean and collect sunken junk for Oscar. The player is given a special underwater tool with 3 features: a hand, a microphone, and a flashlight. All of these features can be used while exploring the ocean in different circumstances. The player also has the ability to drive Elmo around in his submarine and can choose when to stop and explore the ocean using the special tool. Oscar gives the player a specific piece of junk to find that he is looking for while exploring the ocean (in this gameplay it is dishes). The junk will be scattered throughout the ocean and the player can stop and collect them using the hand feature on their underwater tool. There are also various activities the player can take a part in while exploring the ocean. Many Sesame Street characters will be scattered throughout the ocean and will have garbage can lids sitting nearby that the player can park on to play a game. There are also various ocean objects that the player can stop and investigate using the tools they are given. After returning back to Oscar's submarine, he will count up all the junk the player collected and if the player collected enough junk, it will create a unique object using the junk. Oscar will then give the player new pieces of junk to look for. All rights go to Sesame Workshop
