In this tropics update, hurricane Beryl remains a dangerous major hurricane as it nears Jamaica. The worst of the weather will arrive Wednesday July 3rd. After that the Cayman Islands will be in line for at least a category 2 storm. The Yucatan Peninsula will see hurricane conditions Thursday into Friday. It's becoming more clear that Hurricane Beryl could turn north towards Texas by the upcoming weekend.
