UK actor/singer Dennis Waterman gives an assured rendition of 'Water Under The Bridge' from the 1982 stage musical Windy City, in the lead role of top newspaper reporter Hildy Johnson (which he originated). Johnson suffers a series of mishaps culminating in a prison sentence for knowingly harbouring a criminal, which is where he sings this song, viewing his life, hopes, and future with bitter cynicism. This performance is from a 1990s UK TV show entitled Showstoppers.
