We started our day with visiting one of the entry points of Vadodara city and that is Gandi Gate then important monument known as Kirti Stambh which was built to celebrate the achievements and contribution of Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III towards Vadodara. famous breakfast spot which serves Vadodara's Favourite Sev Usal. Vadodara has a beautiful blend of Marathi and Gujarati culture, we see that in food too. next spot is The Laxmi Vilas Palace. It is one of the most luxurious and lavish palace in the world. The area of the palace is more than 500 acres and it is a residence of The Gaekwad family. You can see some parts of the palace which is divided in 11 points. You can't see most of the palace as Gaekwad family still lives here. next spot :- The stepwell is situated in Sevasi village, about 6 kilometers from Vadodara city. It's believed to have been constructed around 1496 AD, during the time of Sultan Mehmud Begada. Last spot of our trip was Sursagar lake, which is again in the city centre and very very close to Mandovi gate, you can even do shopping in this area as Mangal market is right opposite from this lake.
