UK LIVE: Oil Tanker and Cargo Ship Collision Triggers Huge Blaze in North Sea, 32 Injured | CNBC TV18 Live aerials as the boss of an English port says at least 32 people have been brought ashore after a collision between an oil tanker and a cargo ship in the North Sea. Their condition is not immediately clear. The ships involved the U.S.-flagged chemical and oil products carrier MV Stena Immaculate and the Portugal-flagged container ship Solong. A large search and rescue operation was underway. A major rescue operation has been launched after an oil tanker and a cargo vessel collided in the North Sea off the East Yorkshire coast, with reports both vessels are on fire. HM Coastguard said the incident happened near the Humber Estuary and the alarm was raised at 09:48 GMT on Monday, with a number of lifeboats and a Coastguard helicopter sent to the scene. So far, 32 casualties have been brought ashore, but some crew members were yet to be accounted for, according to Martyn Boyers, chief executive of the Port of Grimsby East. Mr Boyers said he had been told there was "a massive fireball".
