Cairns is Australia's ULTIMATE nature paradise! There are plenty of adventures all around, but mainly the NATURE wonder of the world: Great Barrier Reef. We first make a boat trip with East Coast Tours to the Upolu Reef and the Wonderwall, two of the best snorkeling sites. After this we explore Cairns above water to see the town, the Esplanade Lagoon and all the historic sights. We top it off with a trip to Green Island, a laid-back coral island with the best snorkeling we ever experienced! In this video we see sharks, rays, turtles, colorful coral and the entire cast of Finding Nemo! Previously you saw our start of an East Coast adventure in Australia, from the city of Darwin in the Northern Territory. We made a road trip through the most remote and rugged part of Ozzie, full of overwhelming nature in the Outback. We visited the town's center, the Bicentennial Park, the Government buildings, shopping streets and the famous Darwin Waterfront. On the way to Cairns we saw Litchfield National Park with waterfalls, wild animals, gorges and stunning views. We explored the Territory Wildlife Park for even more wild animals up close. We also spend some nights around Katherine, visited the hot springs in town and drive to Nitmiluk National Park. We hike the Katherine Gorge and swim in Edith Falls. On the way we spot dozens of animals, including a deadly snake! Before Australia you saw us on the most secluded islands in the Pacific Ocean. After Vanuatu we sailed around Viti Levu, to the Yasawa Islands and also Mamanuca. Compared to the busy mainland we saw the most local, untouched and uninhabited bounty beaches. It's actually where Captain William Bligh went after he was victim of mutiny on the famous ship MS Bounty. Another island we visited is the one where Tom Hanks got stranded in Castaway!
