Further information about skiing with children in Tyrol can be found here: https://www.tyrol.com/things-to-do/fa... Getting onto a surface lift with children can be a real challenge. This professional ski instructor has years of experience getting kids on ski lifts and can tell you the tricks of the trade . Here's how to do it: the child should hold both poles in their outside-facing hand -after getting into position, ask them to look behind them in order to see when the next T-Bar is coming if you fall off, there is no reason to panic! Just quickly leave the track and re-enter below. Watch out: Children often think they can sit on the t-bar. However, surface lifts require you stand and maintain body tension whilst being pulled up. If the lift suddenly stops, it is normal to slide back a little. Just keep your skis facing upwards ready for the lift to start again. Take care to stay on the track at all times. Making an exit: As soon as you get out, push the t-bar away swiftly and leave the track quickly to get out of the way. We wish you a lot of fun on the Tyrolean slopes!
