Filmed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. U-M Health and Trinity Health collaborate to ensure patients have access to the right care, at the right time, in the right place. Certain Michigan Medicine patients can transfer from the U-M Health ED to Chelsea Hospital or to Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, and still have their care overseen by a U-M doctor, who will have full access to the patient’s medical records and history. Transportation and any additional necessary consultations will all be seamlessly coordinated.
