I Went on a Roadtrip with a Stranger

I went on a crazy roadtrip date with a cute stranger which turned out to be one of the greatest adventures of my life! Just a few months prior to this, we were complete strangers! Goes to show how magically your life can unfold in such a short period of time. Here’s our story: she lives in the UK and I live in LA, and we both flew to the Philippines to go on a 30-day first date, which was absolutely wild! If you wanna see that, I made a 4-part series about it (links below). And now, she’s flown to LA to go on a second date with me! It ended up being an insane 50-day second date and, for part of it, we went on this roadtrip up California to Lake Tahoe together! Shout out to my friend who let us stay at her place, you’re the best ever! After some late nights out and heavy talks about our relationship, we started this trip feeling exhausted, in a bad mood, and just not like ourselves. We did our best to stay positive, hence there not being many live videos of us being stressed, plus it’s often better to just feel that stuff instead of pulling a camera out. But when we made an unexpected friend, our roadtrip dramatically changed! We started having fun again and enjoying everything! We’re learning that dating someone from another country is complicated and it’s easy to be worried, stressed, or afraid. But I’m realizing I’ve let fears hold me back for my whole life, until now. So yeah… I said yes to going on a crazy 4-day roadtrip with a cute stranger, a girl who lives on the other side of the world, because my heart and gut were on board!
