Post-Thanksgiving! BIG Crowds! Disneyland Christmas After Dark Walk & Afternoon Xmas Fantasy Parade

The Day After Thanksgiving, Big Crowds, Christmas Lights, Nighttime Walk and A Christmas Fantasy Parade. We got to Disneyland a little late that afternoon, and even though it was very crowded, we found a pretty good spot on Main Street to watch A Christmas Fantasy Parade. We started our nighttime walk from the top of the stairs at the Disneyland Railroad—such a perfect place to begin. The view of the Victorian Main Street lights and the Christmas tree was incredible: so beautiful and festive. We headed down a very crowded Main Street to Walt & Mickey and Sleeping Beauty's Castle, which looked like a winter wonderland with snow caps, sparkling icicles, wreaths, and Christmas lights. Fantasyland was packed but festive. Next was “it’s a small world” Holiday, glowing with over 500,000 lights, followed by a short walk through Toontown to see the Christmas decorations at night, especially Mickey and Minnie’s houses. As we were leaving Toontown, we were lucky to see the Disneyland train passing in front of the Christmas projections on it’s a small world Holiday. We continued past the Matterhorn Bobsleds to the luminous nighttime Finding Nemo Lagoon, and once again we got lucky—this time catching the Monorail riding by the water. From there, we walked through Frontierland and New Orleans Square to the Haunted Mansion Holiday, glowing with its Christmas lights and decorations. We ended our walk back on beautiful, holiday-lit Main Street.
