However, pulmonologists typically receive very little fluoroscopy-specific training. Thus, we developed a video module designed to provide introductory and ‘just-in-time’ training for the novice and experienced bronchoscopist, respectively. By the end of this 10 minute video module learners will be able to: Identify the three major components of the C-arm Position patients to minimize radiation exposure Describe the protective equipment worn by staff to minimize radiation exposure Demonstrate correct positioning of the dosimeter List fluoroscopy settings that will minimize radiation Determine when to turn of the fluoroscopic X-ray beam when taking a transbronchial biopsy
