Sometimes a game developer decides to spend some extra money to get a celebrity voice-actor. However, this doesn't always work out the way they imagined. Here are the five worst examples of celebrity voice-acting in games. 5. Bruce Willis - Apocalypse Bruce Willis was a huge action star in the nineties so developer Neversoft thought it would be a good idea to put him in a Playstation action game. This didn't work at all. The voice-acting in Apocalypse sounds like someone is pressing random buttons on a Bruce Willis soundboard. And you can tell by his over the top delivery that he wasn't quite sure what he was doing either. 4. Christopher Walken - True Crime: Streets Of L.A. There’s something about Christopher Walken’s distinct style of speech that's instantly recognisable. But Walken kicks it up one notch too many when he did the voiceover for the narrator in True Crime: Streets of LA. It sounds like he’s trying to do an impersonation of himself. 3. Matthew Perry - Fallout: New Vegas Matthew Perry delivers one of the most boring voice-acting performances ever in Fallout: New Vegas. The developers were clearly hoping he would say the many cheesy lines in a enthusiastic Chandler kind of way. Instead he simply reads them like he's reading the phone book. Boring. 2. Mena Suvari - Kingdom Hearts II Mena Suvari is beloved by many men by her performances in American Pie and American Beauty. But she completely blows it in the virtual world. Her voice-acting in Kingdom Hearts II has …. so …. many … unnatural ….. pauses… And her high pitched inflections just grate on our ears. 1. Peter Dinklage - Destiny I'm sure Peter Dinklage thought he was doing a good job by making your companion Ghost sound utterly lifeless in Destiny. It's almost like he's making fun of the boring story with his incredibly dull performance.
