Healthcare at 12,000ft: A Global Health Rotation in Bolivia

During my final few months of Medical School last year, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a one month Global Health rotation with Child Family Health International (CFHI) in La Paz, Bolivia. I had never done anything remotely like this before. I was nervous yet exhilarated to immerse myself in a new city and culture I was unfamiliar with. My medical Spanish fluency increased exponentially, and I was able to learn an incredible amount from the providers and students I worked with. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so memorable. I hope I was able to capture a small amount of the pride and beauty of Bolivia. Until next time La Paz...
