In this video (Example 1), we will discuss the Norton's Theorem in DC Electric Circuits. We will apply the Norton's Theorem on a circuit having a DC voltage source and several resistors. We will demonstrate how you can use the Norton's Theorem to represent a complex circuit by a simple model (Norton Equivalent Circuit) having only one current source (Norton Current) in parallel with a resistor (Norton Resistance). We will apply this model to calculate the voltage and current for a load resistor.
