The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is South Korea's biggest annual cherry blossom festival! In part 1, we visited all of the most famous and crowded cherry blossom spots that got a bit hectic at times. This 'part 2' video takes a more chilled focus. We spent a quiet, rainy day exploring the lesser-known corners of this charming city. While exploring the more peaceful side of Jinhae, we visit quiet parks, cozy coffee shops, a serene temple, local markets full of character, and a brief stop at the harbour. This city is blanketed in cherry blossoms all over. Viewing the cherry blossoms on rainy day added a calm, romantic vibe to the view. It’s famous for its annual Cherry Blossom Festival — called Jinhae Gunhangje (진해군항제) — which usually takes place in early April and attracts over a million visitors. Originally a naval port, Jinhae is now known as one of Korea’s top spring destinations. 🚆 How to Get There: From Seoul: Take the KTX from Seoul Station to Changwon Jungang Station (around 3 hours) and then transfer to a local bus or taxi to Jinhae. From Busan: Take an intercity bus from Sasang Bus Terminal to Jinhae Bus Terminal (around 1 hour). From Daegu: Take an intercity bus from Daegu Seobu Bus Terminal to Jinhae Bus Terminal (around 1 hour 30 minutes).
