Don't Miss This Part of New Zealand | Northland Road Trip

At the end of 2024 we moved our whole lives across the world to New Zealand. We figured this would be the place to get out of our comfort zones (we’re talking skydiving, rafting, bungee jumping) and indulge in endless natural beauty (from breathtaking mountains to spectacular beaches) - the two things we set out to achieve from this year’s travels. In this video, our first road trip continues as we reach the northernmost point of New Zealand where we experience one of the most amazing sunsets of our lives and enjoy a beautiful beach side wild camping spot. Our journey down the Northland’s east coast leads us through incredible waterfalls, then onto the beautiful Bay of Islands where we hike, swim and unexpectedly expand our culinary palettes. And finally, we conclude the road trip at Poor Knights Islands - one of the world's top diving and snorkelling spots. Want to see more from us? We wanted to leave the world of 9-5's and society's expectations behind as we knew this route in life wouldn't make us happy. But after travelling on and off (mostly off) for the past year and a half, we decided we wanted to try things a different way. What if we could explore the world full-time by living and working in different places? With this new plan in mind, we picked our first destination - Aotearoa New Zealand.
